Level 1 introduces students to a diverse range of interrelated topics related to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and the human body systems, all working together to address pain issues. The emphasis is on learning advanced “listening” skills to understand what the body is communicated through pain.

Coursework includes:

• Theory analysis and hands-on practice

• Learn “patterns” where the body holds tension that can create pain, as well as what types of pain problems can be addressed with the release of these held patterns

• Foundational hand technique/approach to touching and releasing tight muscles and areas

• Chi Gung movements to cultivate chi and open energetic pathways for the chi to flow through when working with clients

• Learn 14 points/areas that can be used for a quick and powerful treatment.

• Learn more Chi Gung movements to cultivate your chi and open the pathways for chi flow to your hands as you provide treatment.

• Train your hands to be more sensitive to the stagnant chi housed in the body.

• Learn hand techniques to address all neck pain and most headaches quickly.

• Re-introduce the patterns that hold pain in various areas.

• Learn new approaches to addressing the specific areas causing pain.

• Learn detailed protocols and techniques for diagnosis and treatment of Sciatica as well as how to diagnosis and treat the Psoas muscle, an often overlooked area because of its location and accessibility.

• Learn the “timing” of a treatment in detail; address how much time is spent on various body areas during each session for Upper body, Lower body and Full body sessions.

• Learn how to propose a treatment plan that will give amazing results in a very short period of time.
